I have been teaching violin students of all ages since 2009. The results have always come with practice and the correct application of technical exercises and repertoire studies.
I genuinely enjoy working with my students, and believe the reason I have been effective in helping some of them win auditions for positions of leadership in their school orchestras is because I have been able to communicate what I have learned from my instructors.
Unlike a commodity that is more or less the same, there is a tremendous difference in the quality of instruction a student can receive from a violin teacher. Without a professional instructor who understands the intricacies of violin technique, a student is more than likely to develop bad habits. These sometimes lead to injury, and are increasingly difficult to undo as the habits become solidified in the student's technique.
Having studied with internationally renowned instructors from some of the great music conservatories of the world, I have demonstrated an exceptional ability not only as a dedicated and effective teacher, but also as a concert violinist performing in concert halls across North America and internationally in Europe.
